Core Acting Program & Agent Showcase

The Bridge Between Elite Training and Industry Representation.

The Core Acting Program & Agent Showcase is a high-level conservatory experience designed to transform dedicated performers into industry-ready professionals. Led by a faculty of world-class experts—alumni of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), The Actors Studio, Second City, and LAMDA—this program bridges the gap between classical technique and the modern screen.

We delve deep into the definitive 20th-century acting methodologies, re-imagining them for the precision of on-camera performance. This isn't just a class; it is an intensive laboratory for deep text analysis, emotional vulnerability, and the use of the body as a primary tool for physical expression.

Program Structure

The curriculum is strategically divided into three intensive modules:

  • Module 1: Acting Essentials – Building the foundation of truth, presence, and imaginative responsiveness tailored for the lens.

  • Module 2: Creating a Character – Developing complex, layered identities using vocal work and physical embodiment to break habitual patterns.

  • Module 3: Mastering the Text – Advanced scene study and high-stakes audition techniques to ensure you command every frame.

The Final Showcase: Your Entry into the Industry

The program culminates in a high-stakes Agent Showcase. Upon completion of all three modules, actors will audition for a minimum of five professional industry agents and managers. This is your direct pipeline to potential representation and the start of a professional career booking work in film, television, commercials, and voiceover.

This program will help you:

  • Master the Lens: Adapt elite stage techniques (RADA/LAMDA) into subtle, powerful on-camera performances.

  • Decipher the Subtext: Conduct deep-dive text analysis to find the hidden beats that other actors miss.

  • Weaponize the Physical: Use the body and physicality as a tool for emotional enhancement and character grit.

  • Access Vulnerability: Build the emotional stamina required for demanding lead roles and repetitive takes.

  • Secure Representation: Gain direct exposure to decision-makers who can launch your professional career.

  • Professionalize Your Craft: Transition from a student of acting to a working professional with a competitive edge in the global market.

By the end of this program, you won’t just be a better actor—you will be an actor with a career.

mODULE I: acting essentials

In this opening module, we strip away "performance" to find the human being. Drawing from the sensory work of The Actors Studio and the presence-based techniques of Meisner, we focus on the raw materials of the actor.

  • Emotional Vulnerability: Learning to access and control your emotional instrument without the need for "faking" or forcing.

  • Imaginative Responsiveness: Exercises designed to make your reactions on camera spontaneous, truthful, and alive.

  • The Science of the Lens: Understanding frame sizes, eye lines, and how to maintain high-intensity internal stakes while remaining physically subtle for a close-up.

  • Core Connectivity: Establishing a baseline of relaxation and focus that allows you to be "private in public."

MODULE II: CREATING A CHARACTER

Moving into the second phase, we utilize the rigorous physical and vocal traditions of RADA and LAMDA. We move beyond the self to build a distinct "other."

  • The Body as a Tool: Utilizing physicality to inform character psychology. We explore how centers of gravity, tempo, and physical "masks" can instantly shift a performance.

  • Vocal Resonance & Text: Applying classical vocal training to modern scripts. You will learn to use your voice as a tool of persuasion and power without losing conversational naturalism.

  • The Laban/Chekhov Influence: Exploring psychological gestures and physical qualities that allow you to "step into" a character's skin.

  • Advanced Improvisation: Using Second City techniques to find character quirks and spontaneous moments that make a role your own.

MODULE III: MASTERING THE text

The final module is where the craft meets the business. We focus on "The Booking." This is the bridge to your professional career.

  • Deep Text Analysis: A forensic look at the script. We identify objectives, obstacles, and "the event" of every scene to ensure your choices are bold and defensible.

  • On-Camera Audition Technique: Mastering the self-tape and the "room." We cover everything from slate etiquette to handling adjustments from a director on the fly.

  • The Business of Acting: Preparing your professional package—headshots, reels, and resumes—to meet the standards of the top agencies.
