The studio offers step-by-step guides for actors looking to start their careers in their city. This includes information on auditions, casting calls, and local resources for actors. This helps actors to understand the process and develop the skills they need to get started on their journey to success.
In addition to providing guidance and information, the Performing Art Studio also offers actors the opportunity to work with top industry professionals. This includes agents, casting directors, and film directors who are at the forefront of the industry. Working with these professionals can provide actors with valuable experience and help them build relationships in the industry.

Our program will help you:

• Refine your acting and audition techniques with feedback from industry insiders that are constantly casting projects & signing talent.
CURRICULUM
Before the beginning of the program, we will send you an intro package with:
• A comprehensive list of 200+ US, UK, Canada & Ireland Agencies.
• A guideline on how to self-submit to agencies and projects.
• A guideline to create strong self tapes & acting portfolios.
• A book of monologues that you can use for the showcase and
for any audition.
If you would like extra coaching between sessions you can schedule them with our coaches.
All actors are paired up with colleagues of their same age range and acting experience.
Week 1
Coach Session
Text & Voice / On Camera Techniques
This session is focused on creating rhythm and imagery, the correlation of punctuation-breath-emotion, finding our natural voices, creating strong subtexts and using resonators to expand expressiveness and character development.
The second half of the session focuses on fundamental On Camera Techniques. Actors will learn to use their focus and eyelines, create presence and subtlety, know the camera movement range and work rhythm and pauses effectively.

Week 2
Coach Session
Intro to The Method & Improv Techniques
An introduction to Lee Strasberg's Method Acting technique adopted by Award Winning Actors like Marlon Brando, Meryl Streep, Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, Bradley Cooper, Michelle Williams among many more.
Strasberg's method is based on using your personal memories to connect to emotions, create nuanced characters and find a character's inner life.
Throughout the years this technique has proven extremely effective when used for On Camera work.

Week 3
Talent Agent Session & Q&A
Week 3 will have an invited Talent Agent who will run a mock audition.
Actors will have the option to audition with a monologue or a scene that they will be sent a week before and present to our invited Talent Agent.
Agents will give personal feedback on each actors work and explain
what Talent Agencies expect from actors when self-taping an audition, selecting a monologue/scene and creating artistic choices when delivering the text/building the character.
The objective of this session is for all actors to know how the casting process from a Talent Agent works and what things we can do to improve our chances of getting represented!
All our Pro's sessions finish with a half hour Q&A for actors to ask any questions they have about the industry.
A schedule with invited guests is sent to students a week before the beginning of the series.
Previous Agencies include Alphabet Management (representing BAFTA Award Winners), Tory Christopher, Acture Talent Agency, WSM Talent, Ryan Artists, and Phillippa Stapelton.
Week 4
Casting/Film Director Session & Q&A
During Week 4, our actors meet with a Casting or Film Director and will present a new scene with their partners. Actors will also present their monologues to the guest coach.
Actors will be able to choose comedic or dramatic scenes from hit TV Shows that will be sent the week before.
This workshop is focused on learning what a Casting/ Film Director is looking for when casting Co-Star roles and how we should approach them in auditions.
We will talk about types, objectives of the scene, main characters status and what do co-stars do in order to help the story go through.
Our invited Casting/ Film Director will also work on how to create different, unique choices that can set us apart from other actors while using our personal strengths to achieve this.
All our Pro's sessions finish with a half hour Q&A for actors to ask any questions they have about the industry.
A schedule with invited guests is sent to students a week before the beginning of the series.
Previous guest Casting Directors include Liz Ortiz who has been the casting director for projects shown at SUNDANCE, Brooklyn Film Festival, LA Indie, Tallgrass FIlm Festival.
Week 5
Monologue Agent Showcase
On Week 5, we will have our agent showcase. Actors will preform their selected monologue from week one. Each actor will perform their one minute monologues to the agents. The invited agents are looking for new talent to represent.
The Showcase will take place on Friday so that the optimum amount of agents can attend. We will have multiple showcases throughout the day so that actors can attend.
We have had many actors get representation from our showcases.
Previous Agencies that have attended our showcases are : Alphabet Management (representing BAFTA Award Winners), DDO Talent, Mode Model Talent, Dream Team Talent, B&B talent, Tory Christopher, Acture Talent Agency, WSM Talent, Ryan Artists, PS Creative Artist, and many more .
Post Program Audition Coaching
After our weekly sessions, all actors get an extra month of coaching for any auditions they submit to.
